With billions of gift cards and key cards thrown to the earth after their short life is over, the impact on our ecology concerned us greatly. We began our business to offer truly biodegradable materials for short term uses like wood gift cards. Our wood cards are biodegradable and can be an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic cards. Currently we are focused on the gift card and hotel key/ pass card markets. Grown in the back yards of Kerala Coastal townships in India, Nissiwood manufactures biodegradable wood cards from our regional white Pine, It is processed in micro thickness, precision laminated with no emission of formaldehyde. The material contained in each card is 98% wood or other cellulose material. If you are looking for an earth-friendly card we have it. If you require a wood with the FSC rating, our imported Birch can give you that rating.

Our wood cards offers exceptional stiffness and consistency in its thickness of 0.03”/ (0.76mm). It has traditional rounded corners and is sized 2 1/8” x 3 3/8” (53.98mm x 85.6mm) and either lo-co or hi-co magnetic stripes.

Our in-house facility can work with you on your supplied artwork, printing and finishing of cards including application and encoding of the magnetic stripe. We are short run specialists. If your project requires 10,000 cards or less, our new Roland LEC 330 offers high-quality, quick-turn CMYK printing. The typical card has 4-color process on the front and single color on the back. If you need more than 10,000 cards we would print your order using our 4-color screen-printing process. With our screen printing method you have the option of using vegetable/ organic inks to create a truly FSC card. Free samples are sent by normal post that takes about 12 days to world destinations unless buyer requires quickly and offers to pay US$ 30 for quick delivery by FeDex

•   The listed prices represent Nissiwood Card’s price to the customer per logo/design printed on the cards, not total cards ordered. Sales tax extra for Indian customers only
•   The card price includes printing with a 300 LO-CO 3 track magnetic stripe. Other designs and features such as encoding, signature box, etc. can be added for an additional fee
•   Customers will be billed for the actual shipping costs only.
• 1000 cards weigh 2.7 kilos
•   T here is $100.00 set up fee per card design.
•   There is a $50.00 art charge if we have to change or rework customer’s artwork after approval of the pre-production proof. We also design artwork at the same rate. Pricing and hourly design rates may change without any notice.

•   50 cards samples of ordered design can be sent for approval at a cost of US$ 100 after order is placed.
